Yaraslau Kryvoi

United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit

Yaraslau Kryvoi writes and practices in the areas of comparative law, international law and employment law. Prior to working on the D.C. Circuit, he taught at the Belarusian State University, and clerked for the Economic Court of the Commonwealth of Independent States. A graduate of Saint Petersburg University, he did his graduate studies at Harvard Law School. He also holds a PhD from Moscow State Law Academy. He is as an editor of The International Journal of Comparative Labour Law and Industrial Relations and a member of Advisory Board of International Encyclopaedia of Laws . His recent publications include: "Why European Union Trade Sanctions Do Not Work", Minnesota Journal of International Law (2008); "Enforcing Labor Rights against Multinational Corporate Groups in Europe" Industrial Relations (2007); and Discrimination and Security of Employment in a Post-Soviet Context, International Journal of Comparative Labour Law and Industrial Relations (2006).
