Honey Yaghoubi is a third year law student at the UC Davis School of Law. She received a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of California at Los Angeles and had the opportunity to specialize in Romantic Literature in Grasmere, England. A Los Angeles native, Honey has had substantial experience in the entertainment industry. As an undergraduate, she worked closely with Universal Music and its lead publishing attorney. As co-chair for the Entertainment and Sports Law Society, last year Honey organized the first music law symposium at UC Davis entitled "Digital Divide: New Currents in Digital Downloading." This symposium focused on the effects of new technology and internet downloading on the music industry. Honey is currently pursuing a career in intellectual property law.
